Each canvas is a dialogue between matter and soul, a search for spiritual harmony, far removed from aesthetic perfection.

Born in Lisbon in 1984, Filipa Sáragga graduated in Visual Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, and in 2013 completed a postgraduate course on the Development of Expressive Arts. Her life journey, marked by experiences of self-improvement in health, motherhood, and self-discovery, has shaped a personal voice in children’s literature and a distinctive perspective in Portuguese contemporary art.

This artist transforms light, spirituality, and her daughters into the pillars of her work. Her artistic universe, profoundly linked to colour and emotion, develops from her home studio, between the sea of Estoril and the serenity of her home, with a language of her own where introspection, faith, and everyday beauty converge a space in which her creative process coexists with daily life and spirituality.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ custom_padding_last_edited=”on|phone” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” background_color=”RGBA(255,255,255,0)” custom_margin=”0px|0px|0px|0px|false|false” custom_padding=”50px|50px|50px|50px|true|true” custom_padding_tablet=”50px|50px|50px|50px|true|true” custom_padding_phone=”0px|30px|30px|30px|false|true” hover_enabled=”0″ custom_css_main_element=”min-height:100vh;||min-height:100dvh;||display:flex;||flex-direction:column;||justify-content: center;” da_disable_devices=”off|off|off” global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″ da_is_popup=”off” da_exit_intent=”off” da_has_close=”on” da_alt_close=”off” da_dark_close=”off” da_not_modal=”on” da_is_singular=”off” da_with_loader=”off” da_has_shadow=”on”][et_pb_row column_structure=”1_2,1_2″ use_custom_gutter=”on” make_equal=”on” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” width=”100%” max_width=”100%” custom_margin=”0px||0px||true|false” custom_padding=”0px||0px||true|false” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_css_main_element_last_edited=”off|desktop” custom_css_main_element_tablet=”display:flex;||flex-direction:column;||min-height:calc(100vh – 100px);”][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_image src=”https://www.filipasaraggadorey.art/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/02-filipa-saragga-en-su-estudio.jpg” title_text=”02-filipa-saragga-en-su-estudio” module_class=”img-square img-full” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_2″ _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_image src=”https://www.filipasaraggadorey.art/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/07-detalle-obra-filipa-saragga.jpg” title_text=”07-detalle-obra-filipa-saragga” module_class=”img-square img-full” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row use_custom_gutter=”on” make_equal=”on” custom_padding_last_edited=”on|phone” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” width=”100%” max_width=”100%” custom_margin=”0px||0px||true|false” custom_padding=”50px||0px||false|false” custom_padding_tablet=”50px||50px||true|false” custom_padding_phone=”30px||30px||true|false” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” custom_css_main_element_last_edited=”off|desktop” custom_css_main_element_tablet=”display:flex;||flex-direction:column;||min-height:calc(100vh – 100px);” sticky_enabled=”0″][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]From a young age, Filipa has combined painting and writing with family life and social projects, convinced that art can change lives.
