A lifelong artist, she studied Fine Arts in Lisbon, was a student of the classical master Luís Guimarães for over 20 years and was mentored by the internationally acclaimed Portuguese artist Paula Rego. Today she paints with passion and prayer in her home studio in Estoril.

Influenced by artists such as Peter Doig, Klimt, Modigliani, and Picasso, her work becomes a space for contemplation, where silence and her inner life are translated into colour.
